ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a Restaurant Accountant/Controller to work in a hybrid environment.  We are located in Central Phoenix.

Applicants must be local and have 3 plus years of Restaurant Accounting experience to be considered.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 
*Perform accounting and financial reporting functions for multiple entities

* Assist with Month End Close

* Fixed Assets and Reconciliations

*Maintains/manages the accounting processes and records in Restaurant 365

*Manages the annual audit process

*Direct the continuous review of pricing and implementing pricing changes through all systems

·*Operates and monitors the organization’s system of internal controls

*Coordinates accounting with operations management to evaluate and implement various business initiatives including process improvement, system implementation and upgrades

*Provides management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status

*Provides operations with timely P&L reports and operational analysis for use in managing the business

* Oversees Accounts Payable and Data Entry functions

*Implement P-card solution with integration to R365 Accounting system

*Provides expertise in all financial areas for start-up of new entities: general accounting, budgeting/forecasting, cash management and decision support

*State Salkes Tax Reporting

Qualifications


· Proficient in computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite of products. Restaurant 365 and Toast experience preferred

· Ability to analyze, research, disseminate and make recommendations on multiple projects

· Keen analytical ability, detail oriented and able to provide positive leadership and direction to Accounting/Support personnel

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to plan, organize and execute projects and initiatives

· Ability to conceptualize and design organization and accounting policies and procedures

· Ability to interact effectively with all levels of team members, joint venture partners and owners

· Ability to effectively manage work through others, manage change and conflict










 
Compensation: $75,000.00 per year
